I have so many new mommy and daddy friends who want to buy a brand new carrier, however the price tags of a new carrier can be a little too pricey for some. Why do I babywear? I have never been the stroller mom. I’ve owned 4 strollers and used them all maybe a handful of times. Babywearing just allows me to bond with my daughter a little more in my opinion. I love the closeness we have and that I can snuggle and hug her while we’re out. Since she’s a newborn she has been nursing while being worn too.
When I first tried my líllébaby carrier I didn’t give it a fair chance, because I just loved the pattern of my Boba. I admit to being one of those babywearing mommies who went for the patterns. Then that beautiful carrier broke while I was babywearing my baby girl. It wasn’t fixable and it was an issue they fixed on the Boba 3g when they upgraded to the Boba 4g. Luckily we got a brand new Boba 4g under warranty, but it just wasn’t the same. It was still pretty, but pretty uncomfortable too. We found another “pretty” carrier for clearance at Target, the Ergo. I wore her to a conference in the Ergo and couldn’t move without pain for days after. Neither of us were a fan. My daughter started to hate babywearing. We went through a period of not babywearing for months because I thought she just outgrew it. My heart was broken. Then I figured I’d bust out my líllébaby that I never gave a chance. It was like true love. My nearly 3 year old was once again enjoying being worn and she even asked for it over being in a cart or being held.
Now líllébaby has come a long way since I originally tried my first complete with them. They have GORGEOUS new prints and they keep releasing new prints and styles. As a mommy who wanted comfort and style, I am so happy with all these new releases! I am extremely grateful for the CarryOn toddler baby carrier! I just broke our CarryOn AIR slamming the car door and I am buying a new one once they come back in stock. It’s our favorite carrier for the summer months, especially when you’re wearing a toddler! My daughter was even upset.. it was her favorite! If you have a toddler I’d definitely consider getting a CarryOn as well!
When I heard about the líllébaby essentials I couldn’t wait to try it. An affordable carrier with a beautiful print, who wouldn’t want one in their collection?! Yes, I said collection.. I have many carriers, mostly líllébaby, this way my friends and family can try them out and compare for their new little bundle. I’m so excited to add the Essentials as an option for them, I know it’s going to be a hit for them too!
The hood on the líllébaby essentials is a little bit smaller than I’m used to on my other líllébaby carriers. I still nurse my daughter and we typically cover up with the hood and we were unable to do that with the líllébaby essentials. That being said, I think you may be able to nurse discreetly with an infant or smaller baby, not a 3 year old.

Since I own other lillebaby carriers I use the lumbar support with my Essentials carrier. It’s not necessary, but with my back pain it’s a lifesaver! We love all of our lillebaby carriers and this new Essentials is truly essential for us! We use it to go to the farmers market, shopping, for walks and it’s in our car at all times! For the price this would be a great baby shower gift or even a gift for yourself, go ahead, you deserve it!
